The available 2.0L turbocharged engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, providing 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, this model has a class-leading 5,000 lbs of towing capacity. The Raptor gives the best effort among the Bronco lineup, but can only tow 4,500 lbs.

Just as the range-topping Raptor model has its own super-powered engine, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 also has an exclusive engine. In this case, it’s a 6.4L HEMI V8 capable of 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.

Lastly, there’s the hybrid option. Wrangler 4xe models are equipped with a plug-in hybrid EV system (PHEV) that pairs a 2.0L inline-4 engine with electric motors to produce 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Wrangler PHEV models provide impressive fuel economy and an outstanding range; however, Bronco does not yet offer a hybrid model, so it would be unfair to compare these figures.

The Ford Bronco certainly has some off-road abilities. Features like G.O.A.T. driving modes, which adjust throttle, torque, and rear differential lock to suit driving conditions, and the HOSS Suspension System provide drivers with user-friendly technology to help drive off-road.

Some trail features are also available, like the HOSS 3.0 and HOSS 4.0 systems. Both include FOX Live Valve technology, but the HOSS 4.0 system is limited to the Raptor trim, while the HOSS 3.0 is only offered on the top trims.
