Odds are that you’ve been inundated with car commercials for the last several decades—from local dealership commercials to big-budget mini-movies showing off a new vehicle during the Super Bowl, you’ve seen it all—but is there really a vehicle that can do it all? We think so, and we think it’s the Ram 1500.

The 1500 isn’t built for everyone but anyone. Whatever your job entails, whatever your life looks like, no matter what you dream about, the Ram 1500 is your ticket to being able to do it all—at work, at home, at play. If you’re looking for something that fits that description, come peruse our inventory of Ram trucks for sale near Cincinnati at Zimmer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Whether you’re in the city or live in the surrounding area, it is but a quick trip to glimpse some of the most versatile, highly lauded, best-loved trucks in the world.

Work Truck Wonder

If you own a business or are part of an organization that keeps a fleet of vehicles, then you’ve more than likely looked over pickups and vans to determine which are the most practical and comfortable. If you buy a bare-bones model, it’s likely practical but not very comfortable—but you also don’t want to spend more money than necessary on a model that might be comfortable but not very practical. So what do you do?

The Ram 1500 is an excellent choice for a work truck since it combines practicality with comfort. You’ll enjoy driving from one job site to the next, and loading/unloading your equipment has never been easier with a rear folding seat and a 40/20/40 split bench up front. You’ll also have the truck bed for your equipment and four passenger seats if you need to bring your crew. Built tough and durable, the Ram 1500 Tradesman Quad Cab is ready to work, and you won’t have to worry about whether or not it can handle tough situations; mud, rain, sleet, snow, dirt, gravel, and uneven pavement are no match for the raw power of the Ram 1500.

The standard 3.6L Pentastar V6 with eTorque can be switched out for a 5.7L HEMI “Eagle” V8 with eTorque—and if you prefer the Anti-Spin Differential rear axle over the standard conventional differential rear axle, you can make that switch as well. An eight-speed transmission completes both powertrains. Standard towing features include a seven-pin wiring harness and a Class III bumper hitch, though a Class IV receiver hitch and the Trailer Camera Wiring Prep package are available if you want a little extra oomph.

Towing & Hauling Hero

Don’t need a work truck but want something you can occasionally use to help friends and family with things like college dorm move-in/move-out, furniture pickup, and dump runs? There’s a Ram 1500 for that. Several 1500 trim levels are highly suitable for these types of tasks while also remaining quite practical as a daily commuter. Since these trim levels are built for everyday living instead of work, they’re even more comfortable, with the amenities necessary to keep a busy friend group or family happy and on task.

Class III and Class IV hitches are available for most trim levels, along with the Trailer Camera Wiring Prep package, and the seven-pin wiring harness is standard for all trim levels. There are also multiple cab and truck bed configurations, so you can specify just how big or small you want them to be. This versatility is one of the reasons many people love the Ram 1500, as the truck can be tailored to the individual driver instead of simply attempting to appeal to the masses.

Hauling and towing capability depend on the trim level, but payload tends to top out at 2,300 lbs, while you can easily get 12,750 lbs of towing capacity with the HEMI engine. With a 66-inch bed, you get 53.9 cu.ft. of cargo space, while the larger 76-inch bed gets you 61.5 cu.ft. of space for building materials, pet food, camping equipment, etcetera.

Higher trim levels have additional available storage up front with the front-center seat cushion and an overhead console; in the back, you have a rear under-seat storage compartment. Also available is a full-length floor console for all those finer pieces of equipment that you don’t want rattling around in the back.

Recreational Revolutionary

Not looking for a daily commuter or work truck but want something you can take out on the weekends or drive during a family vacation? There’s a Ram for that, too. You can opt for one of the higher trim levels, like the Rebel, Longhorn, or TRX; although these are rough and hardy vehicles on the outside, they’re luxurious on the inside and can handle off-road adventures, road trips, day trips, and camping trips. You can create new memories with tailgate parties, cookouts, hay rides, and more because you now have the means with the Ram 1500.

The TRX is particularly suited for off-road activities, with a raised ride height, adaptive damping, a 33-gallon fuel tank, a front-suspension skid plate, a fuel tank skid plate, an active noise-control system, configurable drive mode, a belly pan skid plate, maximum duty engine cooling, a rear tow hook, and a transfer skid plate. Along with an array of engine choices, the TRX has front and rear active-performance shock absorbers to cushion bumpy rides. The Ram 1500 TRX has enough power to drive off the beaten path and enough comfort to make it a great experience.

Even if you don’t want to take the TRX off-road, you can hitch a trailer of recreational vehicles and take those into the forest, mountains, desert, or beach. Whether you’ve got four-wheelers, jet skis, motorcycles, scooters, or mountain bikes, there’s room for them all as you head off into the sunset for another wild adventure.

Add Some Pizzazz With These Accessories

The Ram 1500 is the complete package, but if an accessory has been calling your name, the 1500 is eager to adopt it. Several packages are available for the Ram 1500, though not all are available for all trim levels. Packages include an Advanced Safety Package with features like a Tailgate Ajar Warning-Lamp and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go. The Bed Utility Group includes such features as a Deployable Bed-Step and four adjustable Cargo Tie-Down Hooks. A Technology Group package adds a Digital Rearview Mirror and LED Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp, among other features, while the Southfork Edition Group adds all-terrain tires, a Bright Pedal kit, and a multi-function tailgate.

These and many other packages are available to add a bit of zest to the already powerful, comfortable, and durable Ram 1500.

The Ram 1500 Can Do It All

No matter what job or activity you need a pickup for, the Ram 1500 delivers. There’s a reason it’s remained at the top of the list for avid pickup fans. With its versatility, memorable good looks, and raw strength, the Ram 1500 is the kind of pickup that can take you anywhere and perform at a level that exceeds expectations. You won’t have to handle this pickup with kid gloves—it can handle rough weather, difficult terrain, and heavy loads, all with aplomb.

Work hard and play hard with the Ram 1500, making new memories and basking in satisfaction at a job completed. You can fill your truck bed with blankets and pillows and watch the stars or stream a movie on the side of the house. With the Ram 1500, the sky is the limit for what you can do. Don’t you deserve a vehicle that works and plays as hard as you do?
