    Build Your Perfect Ram

There are so many different Ram 1500 trims that it can seem hard to differentiate each from the other, but Ram has put some thought into how it designed the 1500 lineup, and the trims are all slightly different. There are options for work truck buyers, off-roaders, and family vehicle seekers alike, as well as different price points that are dictated by the level of luxury and technology available onboard. These many trims are further enhanced by a large number of available packages that allow you to build the perfect truck for your needs.

    Luxury Trims

Starting at the top, the luxurious Ram 1500 Limited delights customers looking for zero compromises in comfort and plush features. At a starting MSRP of $56,250, this is the high-end version of the 2021 Ram 1500. It shows off on the outside with a corrugated mesh front grille and LED headlights, but the real story is on the inside. Genuine wood accents and leather upholstery wrap the driver and passengers in luxury, while the huge 12-inch touchscreen puts entertainment and directions within easy reach. There are even power running boards for easy in-and-out.

The Limited Longhorn, at $52,180, puts a southwestern spin on the Limited. With special Longhorn badging inside and out, plus the liberal use of real Barnwood trim, the cab has a very distinctive appearance. There's leather everywhere inside the Limited Longhorn, including on the dash, and the 12-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity keeps you in touch even during long road trips. Rear seat passengers will enjoy the only reclining rear seats on the market as well as best-in-class legroom.

    Engines

There are five different engines available across the Ram 1500 lineup. The base engine is a 3.6L Pentastar V6 that offers 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. Upgraded options include a 5.7L HEMI V8 with 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, an efficient 3.0L Ecodiesel that offers 480 lb-ft of torque and makes 26 MPG combined, and a massive supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 that transforms the Ram TRX into the most powerful production truck ever built. Some of these engine options are available with eTorque, a mild hybrid system that boosts low-end torque while slightly improving fuel efficiency.

    Capacity

The 2021 Ram 1500 boasts up to 12,750 lbs of towing capacity, and you can haul up to 2,300 lbs of payload in the bed. Those figures aren't bad for a luxury truck, but the 2021 Ram 1500 is filled with technology to make towing and hauling easier than ever before. The truck also offers Power-Fold Tow Mirrors, a 360-degree surround-view camera system, and trailer camera wiring for incredible awareness when towing.

    Towing Technology

Five cameras work together to give you excellent visibility, which is a big help when hooking up your trailer. The available trailer camera wiring allows you to rig additional cameras on your trailer and display the feed on the central touchscreen so that you can see behind you or monitor your cargo. There's even available trailer tire pressure monitoring and trailer light check to keep you and your cargo safer.

    An Advanced Bed and Tailgate

The Ram 1500's intelligent multi-function tailgate has a 60/40 split feature with swing-out doors for easy bed access. The swing-out doors make it easy to work around the trailer without having to lower the tailgate. You can easily access the bed even with a trailer hooked up to the back. Despite this added functionality, the tailgate can still accommodate up to 2,000 lbs when open, so people and cargo have a place to rest.

The RamBox Cargo Management System makes use of the dead space over the wheel wells in the truck bed, with waterproof, drainable, and lockable storage compartments. These can be used to store tools or even serve as ice chests for your tailgate parties. There is also a 115-volt power outlet inside for added utility. It's all about maximizing space and providing lots of utility for busy truck owners.

    Meet the Super Truck

Get ready to reframe everything you thought you knew about pickup trucks. Take a look at the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX - a beast of a truck that produces an unbelievable 702 hp and a whopping 650 lb-ft of torque. What does that get you? A 0-60 time of just 4.5 seconds, which is unheard of for a half-ton truck. According to the folks at Ram, the 1500 TRX is the most powerful production street-legal half-ton pickup ever built. That's saying a lot.

The Ram 1500 TRX gets its power by way of a supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 engine. This engine was taken straight from the most powerful Dodge muscle cars, and there is simply nothing else like it in any other truck on the market. If you want raw performance for off-road adventures, then the Ram 1500 TRX is the truck for you. This truck even includes Launch Control with Launch Assist feature, giving you repeatable and lighting-fast starts that will leave sports cars in your dust.

    TRX Features

Inside, the Ram 1500 TRX has a D-shaped racing steering wheel with polished aluminum paddle shifters to give you complete control and remind you that this is no common truck. But the TRX is still a Ram 1500 and offers all the best-in-class luxury that you expect, from a 12-inch infotainment screen to a 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system. The available tech package even includes luxury features such as power-adjustable pedals, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, and wireless phone charging. There is simply no better way to take on the world in style.

Outside, the extra-wide fender flares, combined with the distinctive LED headlights and the signature Ram badging, create an aggressive front-end appearance. Those fenders aren't just eye candy: they contain strategically-placed air filters that provide brake cooling and help optimize aerodynamics. The massive hood scoop even includes LED lighting that gives the impression of flames roaring from the engine. In the rear, you will find massive 5-inch matte-black exhaust tips to show everyone the power of your truck.
