In 1981, the world got its first Dodge Ram. He named his new vehicle the Plymouth, after the “endurance and strength, the rugged honesty, the enterprise, the determination of achievement and the freedom from old limitations of that Pilgrim band who were the first American colonists,” according to the press.
This spirit of forging new pathways created the Model Q, which led to the Model U in 1929. In Northern Kentucky, Ed Zimmer established his own car dealership, which focused on selling these brand new Plymouth models.
