The Wrangler made its premiere in 1986, a reminder of the rugged, durable vehicles that helped the Allies to victory in World War II. With such a heroic backstory, the Wrangler had big shoes to fill, even if they were now available to regular folks in a time that was more peaceful. People wanted something that they could explore with, seeing the sights, traveling highways and backroads, and soaking up the sunshine.
In the early 1990s, the Wrangler was equipped with a different engine than the previous inline six-cylinder––it now came with a fuel-injected six-cylinder. Horsepower and torque rose, which excited manufacturers and drivers alike, as it was now more capable of handling some light hauling and towing. A few years later, the Wrangler also began offering anti-lock brakes, which helped drivers get unstuck by giving the tires back some traction.
The late 1990s saw a redesign of the Jeep Wrangler, complete with upgrades on comfort, and a lessening of drag, which helped increase both fuel efficiency and speed, both very welcome on a rough and tumble Jeep. With more gas in the tank and a better quality speed, the Wrangler was about to become even more popular.
The 2000s saw another kind of Jeep Wrangler make an appearance––the special trim level “Rubicon,” and its purpose was clear: to go off-road. Its 31-inch tires, four-wheel disc brakes, and other specialized equipment made it the perfect choice for those who wanted to adventure off the beaten path.
In 2018, the Wrangler moved into its fourth generation after nearly three decades of innovation, upgrades, and tweaks. The Wrangler is offered as a two-door, but if you want a four-door, you could purchase the Wrangler Unlimited. This iteration seems to have the best of both worlds––comfort, technology, and safety on one side, while the other side is comprised of beefy mechanics and off-road capabilities. You no longer have to choose what you need or what you want. With the newer Wranglers, you can have both.
Tired of buying used vehicles that need lots of repairs? How do you feel about more maintenance, fewer technology features, and potentially less comfortable seating? If you want to avoid those situations, you might want to look at something new. There are also other perks to buying new from a dealership, which can include additional package options, a wider range of choices when it comes to styles, trim levels, and colors, lower mileage, maintenance plans, and newer safety and tech features. You won’t have to worry about recalls you might have missed, replacing parts, or cleaning out someone else’s trash from your new vehicle. New Wranglers are fresh and ready for your adventures, not already scarred from someone else's.
Not much of a risk-taker when it comes to your hard-earned cash? Newer cars are a safer bet, plus they’ll last longer, and if you take care of them well, they’ll have a solid value when you trade them in for a newer model. We are here to walk you through all of the benefits that come with buying a new Wrangler, like the limited vehicle warranty. We will also go over the financing services we offer, our current inventory, and what is offered with the vehicle in terms of engines, packages, technology, and the like. Even if you’re just doing a bit of window shopping, it doesn’t hurt to come by and take a look at what we have on the lot.
Like with everything, there are upsides and downsides to purchasing a vehicle. If you buy a new one, you’re going to be paying a higher price. It might not have many miles on it, and it may have lots of amenities, but if it’s out of your price range, it’s out of your price range. That doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to have a well-working vehicle that you can hang out in nature with. Luckily, we have plenty of used Jeep Wrangler models that have been well-taken care of by the previous owner.
We have plenty of used Wranglers to choose from. One of the perks that come with buying used is you may be able to find some of the more expensive trims or packages at a lower price. You may have some miles on the vehicle, but you can still enjoy more comfortable seats, a luxurious interior, and all the technology at your fingertips without having to fork over some extra money. You might even happen upon a used special edition or a uniquely decorated Wrangler that was made for a specific event, job, or anniversary.
If you enjoy the bells and whistles but don’t want to have to purchase a new vehicle and then add things onto it, you’ll be way more interested in what we have to offer when it comes to used Jeep Wranglers. All you’ll need to do is check out what we have available, tell us what you’re looking for, and how much you’re able to spend, and we will do the rest, finding the perfect Wrangler for you.
